Due to Isabelle’s art theft incident, I was inspired to do some investigation of my own about my artwork…and holy cow, my Little Prince illustration was the most abused :( It’s eeeeeverywhere.
The photo I’ve inserted above is the worst culprit; someone selling charm necklaces with it. I commented on the vendor’s store, sent her an email, but also reported her to the main website. Thankfully they got back to me very promptly saying she’d be given 2 days to take it down; otherwise they’re shutting down her whole store.
I mean, really? The internet isn’t a new concept…how is it that people still haven’t been educated about art theft?? Just because it’s on the internet it doesn’t mean you can just take it and make it your own!! -___- So frustrating…
